The Thunderbolt Trail Race will start and finish within the grounds of Salisbury Lodges. Parking will be available on race day within the grounds of Salisbury Lodges. For those wishing to make a weekend out of the event, we have camping packages available as part of the registration process.

Getting to the Race Start 
Salisbury Lodges is located at 2930 Salisbury Road, SALISBURY NSW 2420. 

When using navigation GPS please enter Dowling Street Dungog 2420,
and THEN  2930 Salisbury Road, SALISBURY NSW 2420 - this will
bring you the shortest way​.

 Mandatory Gear (33Km)
  • Long Sleeve Thermal Top (Highly recommended for 16km)
  • Waterproof and Breathable Jacket (Highly recommended for 16km)
  • Water Bottles or Bladders, 2 Litre Capacity (Mandatory 16km)
  • Personal Nutrition (Mandatory 16km)
  • Headlamp (Mandatory 16km)

Recommended Gear (16km & 33km)
  • Beanie, Balaclava or Head Sock
  • Gloves
  • Thermal pants or tights
  • Fleece Top    


        6:00am to 7:15am - Bib Pick Up (at Salisbury Lodges)

        7:30am - Race Brief

        8:00am - 33km Race Start
        8:10am - 16km Race Start

       10:30am - 16km Presentation

       12:30pm - 33km Presentation + King & Queen of the Corker Presentation

       3:00pm - Event Concludes

There will be car parking at Salisbury Lodges. When arriving, please follow directions of marshall.

Assembling at the Start Line
When assembling at the start line, runners are to position themselves based on estimated pace i.e quicker runners at the front and moderate runners towards the back.  

There are portaloo facilities available at the race venue. We guarantee there will be queues as there are at all runs around the world, so please be organised and don’t leave it to the last minute.    

First Aid
There will be first aid available on-site to assist you with any medical issues. If you require any medical assistance, let one of the event marshals or staff know.
Camping Package $25per person/per night (Site only - tents are not included)
Camping packages are to be booked as part of the registration process. No charge for children.
